Facing a mandatory minimum of 10-32 in the department of corrections. Resolved case with plea to misdemeanor assault in the third degree and probation–no jail or prison time.
The DA dismissed the case prior to motions hearing conceding that the police officer did not have legal justification (reasonable suspicion) to conduct a traffic stop.
